Yea, abalokan is more like observation and prayog is more like use or utilisization. To give more context to my querry, I am looking to describe something like " we can learn a lot from the social experiments of the french revolution.." or something like that..

Thanks guys, although not exact, I might be able to use рдкрд░реАрдХреНрд╖рдг.. but if you can think of any other word that describes more closely what I am trying to convey, please do give me a heads up. Thanks again.

When you put EXPERIMENT in Google translator for hindi translation, it says PRAYOG. It says "USE" is upayog.
Good question.

рдЙрдиреНрдиреИрд╕рд╛рдЙ рд╕рддрдкреНрджреАрдХреЛ рдлреНрд░реЗрдиреНрдЪ рдкреНрд░рдпреЛрдЧ or рдкреНрд░рд╢рд┐рд╢рди рдмрд╛рдЯ рд╣рд╛рдореАрд▓реЗ рдзреЗрд░реА рдХреБрд░рд╛ рд╕рд┐рдХреНрди рд╕рдХреНрд╖реМред
Ok, I am not satisfied with either word but рдкреНрд░рд╢рд┐рд╢рди sounds closer to what I am trying to get.
Once again, I am trying to translate "we can learn a lot from the social experiments of the french revolution.."

In your context, experiment can also mean experience.
So, "...рдлреНрд░рд╛рдиреНрд╕реЗрд▓реА рд╕рд╛рдорд╛рдЬрд┐рдХ рдЕрдиреБрднрд╡рд╣рд░реБрдмрд╛рдЯ рд╣рд╛рдореАрд▓реЗ рдзреЗрд░реИ рдХреБрд░рд╛ рд╕рд┐рдХреНрди рд╕рдХреНрдЫреМрдВ"?
