I am just curious to know how much salary does an IT people make in Kathmandu. Does anybody know?

The first thing to fnd a job. It is hard to find a job in the beginning. They will pay you something about 8000 to 10000 in the beginning. Not much man.

What about in US? I am more interested to know salary range for IT guys in US.

well in the US it usually starts for freshers at around $30/hr and for experienced consultant can go upto $300/hr , that the range i have come across.i could be worng though.

I think Shambu is wrong. An experienced consultant makes about 90-100 USD per hour. That is doing a consulting work. Full time employees make somewhere from $40000 - $90000 a year.

I can fly you are right - about 45-100k a yr some DB Admins make about 120k and more
