I sent an application for renewal of TPS with amount of $515. I got my application back with I-797C saying :

"The payment amount is incorrect , or has not been provided. Please review the form instructions for the fee information. Please resubmit the application/petition with the appropriate fees to the address listed on the bottom of the page."

Also,
What should I put my current status? Last time I filled TPS, I was on F1. Should I mention my current status as F1, or TPS.

Please help. I would appreciate the information.

What was your basis of sendind fee of $515???

$515 was for first time application where TPS Fee + EAD Fee + Biometrics Fee = $515

For TPS renewal, TPS Fee is not required. So it is just EAD Fee + Biometrics Fee = $465 (This is assuming you are applying for EAD as well. Otherwise send just Biometrics Fee. Note that even if you are not applying for EAD, you still need to fill out I-765 and submit it, without the payment.)

Just resend application with the correct check/money order.
