I work in Albany downtown. Right in the intersection of Washington Ave and Pearl St. But I live in Troy. Troy downtown is about 15 min from Albany downtown if you drive and 30 to 45 min if you take a bus. Rent is cheap. I pay $230/m. public transportation is great. $1 for each ride.

The apartment is a 3 bedroom apartment and I am sharing it with 2 other roommates (Tyler and Andrew). Tyler stays in attic and Andrew and I am occupying one bedroom each.

The apartment is at 25 min walking distance (5 min driving) from downtown Albany. The public transportation is pretty good, buses come every 12-15 min during office time.

Regarding the rent, I am paying $450/m + utilities. The apartment is spacious and the roommates are young professionals.
